Diverse Learning Environments
At Jazzie’s Learning Academy we realize that each child is different and has different needs. Here, we offer a holistic approach to early childhood education, where we find that we are better able to address the emotional, social, ethical, and academic needs of a child.
All of our classrooms operate using the Frog Street Curriculum. This curriculum is designed so teachers can effectively communicate and reach important developmental milestones. We also offer a learn through play approach that develops social and linguistic skills. With this approach students can float to centers where teachers ask specific and targeted open ended questions to promote critical thinking amongst early learners.
Frog street infants
It encourages caregiver and child interactions to develop rich oral language and vocabulary as well as social and emotional connections. This curriculum for infants is designed to help infants develop trust and form healthy attachments. Caregivers introduce infants to simple songs to promote movement and engagement
Frog street toddlers
is designed to immerse early learners in a language rich environment that is essential for developing both receptive and expressive language skills. It encourages daily routine and provides activity choices centered around five developmental domains. The activity choices in the physical developmental domain will provide toddlers with fun physical challenges, action songs, and games that will build coordination and balance. Teachers are encouraged to build trusting relationships with children through one-on-one, partner, and small group interactions.
Frog street 3's
This curriculum enhances literacy development and creates a “social bridge” for three year old’s. At this age students are interacting more with each other and are introduced to concepts such as sharing. Frog street lays the cornerstones for math concepts such as classifications and patterns. This program balances intentional academic instruction with directed play.
Frog street pre k
At this stage, the curriculum provides a comprehensive dual language program that promotes learning diversity, while also supporting the 10 learning domains. Students can expect an experience that allows them to be hands on and engaged. This curriculum incorporates activities that target problem solving skills and conscious discipline to create a strong emotional foundation.
